Our Trip To Colorado

Here are a couple posts from our trip to Colorado. Here's the only pic we managed to get of us together. Provided by none other than the incredible photography of Ms. Arwen! Look how she achieved a slight fuzzy effect by moving the camera ever so gracefully just before the picture took! What talent!

Garden Of The Gods

Welcome to the Garden Of The Gods! Really hot and a whole lot of red rocks! A beautiful place.

Here are our noses!

Lakeside Amusement Park

We went to Lakeside amusement park as a family and had a blast watching the kids go wild on the rides! We, on the the other hand, were a bunch of wimps and couldn't hack the big kid rides. So we ended up on the carousel at the end of it all.
Arwen went crazy for the mini roller coaster. She was so brave and went on it a million times!

Our Last Day In Colorado

Its hard to tell, but little Noah is somewhere at the bottom of this dog-pile. Poor kid.
On July 12th, all the kiddies were so hyped up they couldn't be controlled. Here's our brother-in-law Jon's attempt to keep Noah in line. We aren't sure what this hold would be called!

Look what Scott got me, and he didn't even do anything wrong! I have the best husband ever!

About a week ago, we got a chance to watch our two little nieces, India and Alayna. We had so much fun running around pretending we were Peter Pan and flying!
Here is a puzzle that Danielle finished the other day. She is so good at these! The sky and clouds were really difficult. I only helped just a little bit. (Notice the piece missing at the bottom left.) We have no idea where it went or if it ever even came in the box! Lame!

The other day, Danielle and I discovered a beautiful bird sanctuary right down the street from our apartment! It has a path that takes you more than a mile into this lovely wooded area. It's our favorite place to walk now. You feel like you step away from the hustling of the world around you.

On June 3rd, we celebrated Scott's birthday. We're not whether he liked his cake or his boogers more!
Here I am posing as a crusader preparing to go into battle.
Preparing to thwart any foe that stands in my way.
Ready for a fight!!
Back in October, right before we got married, we decided to be a corpse bride and groom for Halloween. Danielle does some great scary makeup!
