Lakeside Amusement Park

We went to Lakeside amusement park as a family and had a blast watching the kids go wild on the rides! We, on the the other hand, were a bunch of wimps and couldn't hack the big kid rides. So we ended up on the carousel at the end of it all.
Arwen went crazy for the mini roller coaster. She was so brave and went on it a million times!

Our Last Day In Colorado

Its hard to tell, but little Noah is somewhere at the bottom of this dog-pile. Poor kid.
On July 12th, all the kiddies were so hyped up they couldn't be controlled. Here's our brother-in-law Jon's attempt to keep Noah in line. We aren't sure what this hold would be called!

About a week ago, we got a chance to watch our two little nieces, India and Alayna. We had so much fun running around pretending we were Peter Pan and flying!

Here is a puzzle that Danielle finished the other day. She is so good at these! The sky and clouds were really difficult. I only helped just a little bit. (Notice the piece missing at the bottom left.) We have no idea where it went or if it ever even came in the box! Lame!

The other day, Danielle and I discovered a beautiful bird sanctuary right down the street from our apartment! It has a path that takes you more than a mile into this lovely wooded area. It's our favorite place to walk now. You feel like you step away from the hustling of the world around you.

Our Trip to Denver

On our way to Colorado, we saw some beautiful rock formations and I managed a shot while Scott was going ninety miles an hour. We were so lucky to be able to hitch a ride with his sister Sarah and her kids. I felt even more lucky and privileged to meet Scott's family and to realize that I'm becoming a part of it!

Scott and I were able to spend a lot of time with his nieces and nephews during our trip, especially Arwen. Here we are playing at the park. We became such good friends. I can't wait to see her again!

Bumming Around at the Denver Zoo

One of the highlights of our trip was when we visited the Denver Zoo with Scott's nieces and nephews. We really liked this picture of Arwen, Noah and Josh's bottoms sticking out while they were watching the elephants.

Our Date Night in Denver

While we were on our trip, Scott took me into Denver for dinner and to see some sites. We had an amazing time! Scott brought me to his cousin's restaurant, Vesta Dipping Grill. I have never had such great food and the atmosphere was sensational.

After dinner we walked around lower downtown. The sun was just barely setting and it made for some great shots.

The Ring

It is rather hard to make out but this is Danielle's engagement ring! It is so beautiful and suits her hand so well!

Well, yesterday, June 16th I made one of the biggest decisions of my life! I asked my beautiful girlfriend Danielle if she would be my wife! It was quite the experience! One I will never forget. We are considering December 27th tentatively for our marriage date. we are very happy and very excited!

Here is a kitchen set-up that we both really loved! It is incredible how affordable everything is here! It sure id fun to dream about buying a home and furnishing it with fun things!

This warehouse has got to be 200,000 square feet! Our dogs were barking by the time we had finished walking through it! We made sure to stop and get some swedish meatballs before we left!

We Love Ikea!

Last Thursday, Danielle and I went to Ikea to look around at all of the cool merchandise they have there. That is one of the coolest stores ever!

Well, being inspired by my older sister, I thought that I would create a blog that would capture all of the wonder that I call my life! I really like this picture and I thought it would be a great one to start this blog with. My girlfriend Danielle and I went to a dance at the capitol building in Salt Lake. It was such a fun time even though the acoustics were terrible!

We got to dress up all fancy! I still managed to throw a little personal style into my ensemble with the addition of my black converse as my footwear. Danielle looked absolutely gorgeous.

Since we have decided to get married, we thought it would be nice to include our family and friends in the life we are creating together.
